I hope there is a way to actually collect a sample to either confirm or deny our suspicions.

I can video plenty of aircraft with a quarter mile or so contrail on every plane all week where I live because of climate conditions in our dry country. You don't understand atmospheric conditions very well, My family of retired life long jet pilots do.
