Please explain to me why the people in the southern hemisphere can't see Polaris. In your model they should be able to see it fine. Then explain why people in the northern hemisphere can't see the southern cross. Then expain why everyone in the southern hemisphere can see it and it appears to all of them to be our from the center of the disk. Ignorant morons.
Polaris isn't motionless. Not only does it rotate around the pole, it also drifts about 0.046 arcseconds a year due to the motion of the stars relative to each other in their journey around the center of the galaxy. It's unbelieveable how ignorant you people are.
