What this proves, is that your intellect is flat! Water is NOT truly level....What do YOU think the horizon is? Haven't you ever wondered WHY you never reach the horizon? That it ALWAYS looks the same distance away from wherever you are? At 35,000 ft in an airliner, one can literally see the curvature of the earth (and there's still a horizon)! From that altitude you still can't even see Canada from Texas! If it were flat, you would be able to see ALL continents from there! C'mon man!!!! This whole stupid concept just needs to be laid to rest like it was 600 years ago!

You prove nothing uttering the concept of reaching, or not reaching a horizon, that's foolish like claiming one can find the end of a rainbow, neither proves a curved earth. If a helicopter hovers 15' above the ground for 24 hours, does the earth rotate under the hovering bird? The answer is no,in the late 70's a radio station in L.A. raised money for a childrens hospital by arranging for a helicopter to hover in one place for 24 hours straight ... by your logic, if the world were curved and spinning, the helicopter pilot watced the earth rotate while hovering in a fixed location.
