Right, and you don't see the Beach do you ? That's because it's below the viewing camera, and you wonder why ? Your visual is straight, but the Beach is below the water line, that's because of the curvature of the Earth. I'm surprised if it's true there's over a hundred miles between the Islands ? The naked eye can only see 5 miles ? Something's not right in your calculations ?
