Interesting tech... It's too bad that the more advanced the technology becomes, the poorer the quality of end product is. The state-of-the-art effects driven Mandalorian was abject schlock compared to the practical effects and models of the original Star Wars films, made four decades before it. This has probably got to do with the lack of artistic background of those increasingly working on film -- much less, a theatrical background -- as well as the money and deadline driven nature of the industry. Garnish that with the political pollution being shoehorned into television and film production, and the vision of the creators becomes lost behind a morass of 1s, 0s, and diversity hiring / pandering.
