There are many reasons for such including traffic of other aircraft, political / governmental rules, weather rules and the likes. 2: All objects on earth be them on the ground or in the air are gravitational locked. The spin of the earth makes no difference. So whether you fly east or west matters not as to the spin of the earth. Only the prevailing winds or jet stream has effect of speed and time. If one could be unlocked from gravity as they left the ground then every flying animal or insect would smash against any objects at high speeds going against the earth's rotation. But that fly inside your speeding car does not smash against the car's glass windows right? You are as my late brother would say knowing enough information to be dangerous. You apply enough information to your ignorant point of view to be dangerous. Any half intelligent high school physics student can dispel your point of view here.
