In the mid 70's, a l.a. radio station arranged to have a helicopter hover, stationery in one location, for 24 hours as a means to raise money for a childrens hospital in los angeles.
To do this required more than one helicopter pilot per faa raules, the helicopter hovered above a helipad for 24 hours, non-stop, pilots were rotated during this process whithout ever landing the bird.
If the world is a spinning ball traveling over 1000mph, wouldn't that helicopter have circled the world in that time?

A hovering helicopter is gravitational locked and moves with the rotation of earth.
Using your flawed logic if a person standing at the equator where the earth's spins at about 1000 mph. If that person was to jump as they can they would find the earth moving at 1446 ft. per second under them as they were up in the air. Surely anyone with a brain can see this does not happen.
