Wow. Good catch(es). Yeah, a vertical column gone off center REQUIRES horizontal motion (or lateral propulsion) to combat the effect of gravity pulling the top to the side. I certainly didn't catch any horizontal stabilizers firing.
And the narrator (narratess?)... egads. Junior in high school drama class?
