A bit silly. Plants grow upwards ( even if you plant a seed upside down) because they have hormones that are specific to the structure of the plant which organises the growth so that it is upwards towards the sun.

You know what...IF THIS was the only evidence, given for the Flat Earth truth. I'm not too sure this would be of any value or evidence. What really did it for me, was the lies about Space and the so called vacuum of space. Most people know nothing about the different ratings or gauging systems used to describe pressure vacuum measurements. Like Torr verses PSI, etc. But any lanebrain could guess what would happen if you tried to store all the propane in your barbecue grill, in a beer can. -- If there was a vacuum, the atmosphere would be sucked into the void of said space, in one or two seconds. Followed by the entire plane't would come apart into particles.
