This is a collage i created which i hope you like. It's a vignette giving information on Mylene Farmer's birthday, and where she was born. Mylene was born in Canada, as Marie-Helene Jeanne Gautier, on September 12, 1961- in the North-Western suburb of the great island-city of Montreal, in a district called Pierrefonds. Her mother was Marguerite Martin- a nurse, and her father Max Gautier, was a civil engineer. The family had emigrated to Canada, from France, when Max became employed for the provincial government of Quebec- and received a long-term contract to remain in the country. Marie-Helene was born in Canada during her father's tenure, and the family lived there until 1970, when her father- having finished his contract- moved his wife Marguerite, Marie-Helene and her 2 siblings back to a suburb of Paris. Marie-Helene grew up in France where she eventually began modeling, then singing. Her first song "Maman a Tort", was released in 1986. She adopted the name Mylene Farmer, in honour of Frances Farmer- one of her favorite actresses. Thank you for taking the time to find out about Mylene. Music is by Jordan Batten and Peter Ferrera.
