Mylene Farmer's most beloved song, "Je Te Dis Tout" translated in English and subtitled within a Television performance of the song. This bittersweet melody is about losing a loved-one, but more specifically, these words refer as well to the Aids crisis of the late 20th century. Mylene's many references to blood maintain the general image in the mind's eye of this scourge, but very specific is her line i translated as "And on your sweater, i will embroider an M". First off, M can be understood two ways; as "aime" or as "m", but her reference to sweaters, points directly to a custom that developed in the 1980s, of stitching together the clothes of recently departed victims of Aids, and exhibiting them in public places as an homage.
