Presumably, this refers to the referendum and subsequent annexation of Crimea. No mention of the Ukrainian genocide of ethnic Russians in the Dombass which had been going on since 2014. I believe it is between 8000 and 14000 civilians were murdered up until the Special Military Operation (the term used in Article 51 of the UN Charter, as intervention in a genocide). If the words Meiden Coup, Minsk accord, Asov battalion, and Stefan Banderas mean nothing to you, I suggest you keep your opinions to yourself. What business does NATO have in intervening in a non-NATO country? If you think they are 'defending democracy' then why are the Ukrainian opposition leaders in jail? I suppose it is representative of what 'democracy' is becoming in the West, if Canada or New Zealand is anything to go by.
