Great video. I still keep wondering WHY we're being lied to about the climate. Is it just to confuse and scare us, or is there more to it? This is so crazy.

ONLY Tony knows why he does what he does!!... 🤔. Maybe the Trumpet too! 😝

Billington

SilentSun nice name. Does that mean you think the sun influences things on Earth? This is why there is more to it, Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai explains it well. Dr. Shiva is too smart for .666" Dick to comprehend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYD0doql-5k

I so disagree!!!. I'm way smarter the dr who ever the fuck you said!! 😝... &, You too 🤗

If burning all those fossil fuels has caused catastrophic global warming, why do we still experience killer cold snaps, like the one in February 2021?

Poor Texas is being deliberately targeted for punishment by the communists for daring to stand up to be counted. I wouldn't be surprised if that truck/train crash was deliberate. For sure the power outage is far, far worse than it needs to be.

Didn't they have Coal gas back then? Even dirtier product than today's Natural gas. And still , they burned it and kept warm.

195 Million Cubic Feet per Day ? OMG, look at the Global Warming it's creating, do you feel it ? hahahahaha

Those gas figures from 1923 was probably not natural gas but rather manufactured carbureted water gas made from coal!

OMG!!!. Story telling time again!! 🤗. & It's getting better & better & longer & longer!!. Yay!!! 😝... How's Tony loving his new job do you recon!!?. Sitting back & sitting around all day telling his little stories, spreading misinformation on twitter & places like this with all his bullshit conspiracy theories & propaganda, he must be getting quite handsomely payed for it hey!!. Well quite obviously much better than what he'd be getting payed for with a scientific government job/jobs that he got knocked back on many years ago!!. Still holding a grudge hey mate!!! 😝 🤔... @.08 seconds! 😳. So burning firewood is extremely damaging to the environment!!. Should I fact check that do you think!?? 😝. But burning fossil fuels isn't extremely damaging to the environment, & definitely causes no harm to the ecosystems or pollution!!?... Is this right!?? 🤔... Ahhh, so it mustn't be us that is responsible for the nearly doubling of CO2 & other greenhouse gases since the industrial revolution!! & During all of mankind's sole existence in history!!. Who would have thought! 😳. It quite obviously & must be all that natural stuff going on right, right!!?. You know, like volcanos & cars ect ect ect!! 😝. Then again, it's probably just all them very well payed fake assed scientist from all around the world that are conspiring against humanity just to send us back to the dark ages so that they can control us all, while!! They all live in there great big fat mansion's beside the seaside!! 😝. Sounds legit hey!! 🤗. Now I finally know what's truly going on & can understand it all!!!. Thanks Tony!! 🥰... @1.16 & Thank god we can check all information & the facts for ourselves these days hey!!!. Though what Tony presents, was only first sighted in 1918 & noted in 1923, never noted before hand!!? Correct!??. & That the expedition was sent out in August 1922!! 🤔... Seems like that's all the proof I need!! 😝. Because before that, we new everything! Especially about that 'particular region'!! & Time. I wonder what we have learnt since then, about that particular area, & 'time'!!?... Oh, it seems we decided & did try & find out!!! Wow!! 😳. Ok so because before that news clip, we obviously didn't give a fuck right!! 😝. Did we!?? 🤔. Never seen before hey! 🤔... Ok, so off the subject now! ... https://www.mosj.no/en/climate/ocean/temperature-salinity-fram-strait.html ... Can you see & tell what is going on!?? Yeh it's just cyclical cycles!! Right!!! No warming trend in that part of the world, either, as far as I can see!!?. Yeh ok, it's probably because I didn't even open it up & read anything! 😝. But hey, who needs to when we got Tony telling us all the facts all the time & that conditions were very similar to what we see today!!... 'Similar'!!? Hey. 🤔... Sorry, do you think they are just natural cyclical cycles then!??. Well yes, of course they are!! 🙄. & Do you think they have something to do with it!!!. Well ok, of course they do!!! 😝. Just not all!! 🤦. Some people are so dumb hey!!... @2.38 Tony, "What they see obviously had nothing to do with CO2 in the atmosphere because such a thing hadn't occurred"!! 😳. 😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂, Fucken classic! 😝. 🤦... @2.58 Yeh ok so let's use the more then 100 year old news clips & maps!! Very accurate I'm sure! 😝. Especially if you listen to Tony!!. Do you think that map was drawn up by hand & during the summer months!!! Like when he went out to observe the unusual occurrences that was happening at that time, that has never been seen before!!! 🤔... @3.18 Tony then shows the '1st' day of summer charting the ice thickness in the area!! Well why not in the middle of summer, Mr Heller!!? 🤔. As that is obviously what we should be comparing to & with the Dr's map, right!!!!... What we do know now! Is that as an average, see ice has definitely been declining!!. For well over a hundred years! Just like all them dame mountain glaciers that just seem to not want to go away!!! 😝. 😳... Ok so In part dr Adolf Hoel has helped us understand all this, & that shit!! 😝 🤗... If you want to see some averages around that area from about that time, then look here... https://cryo.met.no/en/svalbard-cryosphere-sess ... There are other records going even further back, if you care to look hard enough! But obviously they become less accurate!! Though they all do show a decline also!... The rest of the video is basically on repeat with the plenty of the usual cherry picking bullshit Tony propaganda!!... If you tell a lie big enough & repeat it often enough, it becomes the truth!!. Then all the little sheepies will start to believe you, & follow you!!! 🤗... I could spend all night going through the rest of this video & debunking all the bullshit, & it would just be repeated again from me & others!! 🙄. But does anyone pay me to do so!!?. Tony has a plan obviously!!? 🤔... I'm sure you would be happy to help me out though!! 😝... Send me a message for my PayPal account 👍

At least Tony isn't a vacuous asshole regurgitating Klaus Schwab talking points. In 25 years we will see how hot things are and who is right.

Outrigger

@Scrotalgia - We've already done that. All the wrong predictions about global warming from the 1980s onward have all proven to be wrong. But they persist in this myth anyway. ... And don't waste your time on this guy especially.

notmev

@Outrigger Exxon's predictions from 1982 are actually good: https://skepticalscience.com/1982-exxon-accurate-prediction.html Even the Exxon scientists using antiquated models are better than denialist predictions. But then you are left with your only recourse now, all the data is false. Even the lower troposphere data. Or if you can't hide enough from the data, the warming is normal, or it is caused by something else to do be determined at some time in the future.

notmev - Denialist predictions? To the extent "denialist" make predicts, a pox on their house. I don't care that some are acting stupid like the climate alarmists, claiming they can predict the climate. The people I respect don't make these predictions, like Tony Heller. Man, you're really getting desperate to make a point.

In a world where we are told a small change in CO2 upsets the entire global climate, what about a small change in sunlight striking the earth's surface and a small change in wind energy extracted by windmills? Has anyone considered these impacts? Is it possible by slowing the wind we are exacerbating the temperature problem, or by blocking the sun from the earth with solar panels, we are reducing the energy at the planet's surface and also exacerbating the problem? Wait - these extractions are "trivial" in comparison to the overall energy picture, right? Just like a tiny rise in CO2 compared to historical measures should also be trivial? I'm just confused that anyone proposing an energy solution thinks it comes at no cost, and in our rush to harness wind and sun, we've ignored the impact of this in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully our grandchildren will have sufficient evidence to figure all this out. Obviously we aren't figuring it out any time soon.

TonyHeller666No_5

Small changes!!?. 🤔... So you are admitting changes!??

FleaMagnet

More detail on PRPA wind turbines: https://www.greeleytribune.com/2021/02/17/prpa-cold-snap-accentuates-importance-of-energy-networks/ Now this multi million dollar company is planning on being 100% non-carbon generation by 2030. Might not be 100%, but that is the direction. What makes any of you think thatyou are smarter than these people? Do you ever ask yourselves, what do they knwo or understand, that would make them risk millions.

John_Crowfeather

In answer to your question: Government subsidies eliminates their risks. And you forgot the part of the non-carbon generation quote "if renewable technology continues to advance" I have worked as a consulting environmental engineer for 30+ years and the subsidies are coming back. I am writing increasing numbers of proposals for projects for "green" energy companies. As one engineer who worked in the renewables section of one of the largest power utilities in the US told me when I asked him how they made any money on renewables despite their obvious output inefficiencies: "The math does not work. It's all about subsidies."

notmev

@John_Crowfeather First how long ago did that engineer say "the math does not work"? Could you look at these doc and tell me why I'm interpreting them wrong and arriving at a differnt conclusion than what you state? Yes, underinvestment in gas and coal in Texas, in favor of wind. Really stupid, being woke on energy. .......“Perhaps the Platte River Power Association, which produces power for Northern Colorado, and TH mentions in this video, has a truth for you since you can't understand Texas. PRPA's wind farms in Wyoming froze, but since there was LITTLE WIND ANYWAY, that didn't matter. PRPA then decided to fire up it's gas generating plant but found out that Excel didn't have the gas to supply, especially since Excel was prioritizing residential usage over electrical generation. .....So PRPA was left with 3 coal fired plants to keep the residents of Northern Colorado from freezing to death. These 3 plants were going full blast, but were not quite not enough to carry the increased electrical consumption caused by the cold, so PRPA called for consumers to start reducing their energy consumption. Well, the lights and the heat stayed on (just barely), despite the failure of wind energy. The residents of Northern Colorado didn't freeze to death thanks to coal. .... Bottom line? Increased "Green" energy, less reliable and more expensive electricity. https://www.coloradoan.com/story/news/20...”

Outrigger

It's kind of a religion, that if the wind and solar fail. like in Northern Colorado, or the UK, you just call over to another area of the country and get the power you need? Well this Arctic blast affected a huge area of the US, and there may be little or no excess over large swaths of the country. And these Arctic High Pressures bring little wind and they put snow on solar panels during the already short winter day, and you gonna find more people asking for power than can give it.

We do not have sufficient evidence to support a claim that Europeans burned tens of thousands of people as witches during the middle ages. Although I have not researched reputable sources as to the actual estimated number, if anyone has attempted to, tens of thousands is an unsubstantiated number. Other than that, spot on, please do continue.

Billington

Have you seen the documentary "Little Ice Age, Big Chill"? In it is Brian M. Fagan, a prolific British author of popular archaeology books and a professor emeritus of Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He talks about the burning of witches and in his book "The Little Ice Age: How Climate Made History, 1300-1850" Fagan writes: "Between 1580 and 1620, the citizens of Bern, Switzerland burned over 1,000 people to death." That is just one town in a span of 40 years!

Billington

If you do watch documentary Little Ice Age, Big Chill, at the 23:00 mark Fagan starts talking about witches and at 23:45 they say "according to some historians, 50,000 men and women charged with brewing up diabolical storms were burned at the stake."

The helicopter spraying the wind turbine was a Swedish experiment showing that it could be done. In fact, the cost of doing so was much less than the energy produced by the wind turbine after it was cleaned of ice. But the denialist don't care about the truth, they push crap after crap to reinforce their beliefs. Take a look at the exact timeline of electrical generation in Texas and you would see gas and coal dropping before and to a uch larger extent than wind.

Outrigger

Nothing about Sweden importing coal power from Poland? Yeah, Sweden did great. ......And then there was the very cold winter of 2010 in Europe where Arctic high pressures parked over Britain often with little or no wind. Yeah, the wind turbine heating kept the blades ice free, but the wind hardly ever came, and wind farms became net consumers of electricity warming the blades. ,,,, And there is so so so much more in this video than Swedish deicing of wind turbines.

Outrigger

Yes, underinvestment in gas and coal in Texas, in favor of wind. I wonder about the time and /or helicopter resources if thousands of wind mills have to be deiced airborne, preferrably at once. - Anyway, no blade heating without rotating mills, or else energy has to be tapped from the grid exactly when it is needed most for keeping households warm.

notmev

@MrRumpelstilzchen100 By that same illogic, energy needed to maintain higher temperatures in well heads, electric controls, and gas piping would be taken away from households when they most need it. I guess that is why wind turbines in the far north hemisphere stop running all during winter. I just did not realize it, maybe you need to get in touch with those countries and let them know that wind turbine electrical generation just doesn't work during the winter.

@Outrigger "Nothing about Sweden importing coal power from Poland?" The truth is in the details. So, how much electrical generation did Sweden get from all that coal importing? Give it a try and back up your fear mongering? How much renewable energy does Sweden produce compared to coal, or hell, lump oil, gas, and coal together! Once again you need to get in touch with the swedish energy authorities and lay done some of your brilliance so they stop going down the renewable path before it is too late.

@outrigger https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity_sector_in_the_United_Kingdom#/media/File:UK_electricity_production_by_source.png Once again, your brilliant diagnosis of the pitfalls of renewables are falling on the deaf ears of the United Kingdom's energy experts. You have to stop their madness please. They are going in the wrong direction, death and destruction awaits them. Renewables will cause havoc.

Fear mongering? Wow! Kind of out there, eh?. I think it's a happy story that Sweden was able to get coal fired electricity from Poland to keep Greta Thuneberg and others warm. .... And I'll bet'ja the power was significant, even if on the margins. I mean, Sweden wouldn't have called for it if they weren't a little worried about their power situation . Sorry to besmirch Sweden's power purity.

Just a reminder; remember all of the signs in glacier national Park in Montana saying that the glaciers would be gone by 2020? The signs have all melted away, but the glaciers are still there. LOL! Keep up the great work Tony.

Experts said Glacier National Park would be ice-free by 1948, and 1961 and 2002 and 2020 and 2044. The climate alarmist clown show never ends. ...... https://realclimatescience.com/2018/10/ice-free-glacier-national-park-update/ …

notmev

@Outrigger Denialist "experts" have been saying and predicting glaciers are growing, nothing to see here,...https://wattsupwiththat.com/2008/11/27/glaciers-in-norway-alaska-growing-again/ http://lysanderspooneruniversity.com/2018/12/glaciers-continue-to-grow-in-glacier-national-park/ http://www.jamulblog.com/2008/11/glaciers-growing.html For example, in 1910 there were over 150 glaciers in Glacier National Park, and there are less than 30 now. But you never mention that do you. https://www.bustle.com/p/how-to-argue-with-a-climate-change-denier-in-the-most-productive-way-18667844 So, since you can't listen to climate scientists because predictions have been wrong in the past and therefore the scientists are always wrong, why can't all the wrong predictions by climate denialists lead to not believing anything they say? But your brain is so miswired that you can't even see the hypocrisy in your thinking.

Outrigger

Sorry, there were 150 glaciers in Glacier National Park in 1850 at the end of the Little Ice Age, when they started their retreat, long before SUVs. I agree, there's been mostly a warming trend since then. ..... And I don't care if someone else says the glaciers are growing. That's their problem, trying to predict the climate.

Outrigger

continued from above - It seems it's the last 30 or so glaciers that won't go away, you know, during this time of "high" CO2.

@Outrigger "It seems it's the last 30 or so glaciers that won't go away, you know, during this time of "high" CO2." Do you deny that the amount of ice in glacier national park is not decreasing in the last 30 years? You keep harping on failed predictions, while ignoring that the trend line is going down and accelerating. https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/sites/3/2019/11/06_SROCC_Ch02_FINAL.pdf https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/05/24/climate/mapping-50-years-of-ice-loss-in-glacier-national-park.html

The next time you go to your doctor please ask for your adjusted body temperature, or adjusted height, or your adjusted blood pressure.

notmev

Actually in a way I do. My home blood pressure machine is not as accurate as the doctors. So I bring it in and compare my machine to theirs and then adjust mine accordingly. If you have a real problem temperature adjustments, something that is actually a technical viewpoint, please post. Tell me what was done wrong. Pick any temperature series, what the adjustments where, and why you disagree. Or, if you are not smart enough to technically rip apart the adjustments, link to a scientist and what they say. Give it a try. Don't be like tony or the other morons that follow his beliefs. Try a real technical discussion on the errors of adjustments.

MrRumpelstilzchen100

@notmev: Other than you would make us believe, reasons for adjustments are not of such an esoteric kind that they can't be explained in some detail to the general public. Even the workings of an A-bomb can be explained to some degree of complexity to laymen/the general public. Which is why I'm begging you for some explanation why the general public isn't granted some insight by the outpourings of MSM and social media gurus? So please, why is that - what do you think? You know, this reeks of “follow the climatology funding!”

FleaMagnet

Actually, I object to any kind of so called adjustments to climate data such as temperature. Any adjustment can only reflect the bias of the adjustor. Michael Mann proved that.

MrRumpelstilzchen100

@FleaMagnet: That's too strict, IMHO. Methods of measurement could be enhanced, noise from micro-environment could be taken into account in a better way - but all of this should be layed out to the general public, instead of the fear porn by MSM we are bombarded with.

FleaMagnet

Rumple still skin, mini statisticians would probably agree with my statement. Temperature proxies have been notorious in missing temperature rises and falls. Since the year 2000 the human civilization has been asked, demanded!, To spend billions and billions of dollars on what some so-called climatologist say may happen as a result of our affect on the climate.

notmev

ushcn:https://judithcurry.com/2016/02/09/assessing-u-s-temperature-adjustments-using-the-climate-reference-network/ It is not the responsibility of climate scientists to try and explain the technical issues to the general public. The language used by the two have very little overlap. If you have ever worked in science or engineering you would understand that even in similar areas there is sometime little overlap. We used to spend most of the time in our meetings in the 90s ,when digital and analog designers were in the same meeting, just trying to agree on what words meant what. Now you want climate scientists to explain something without watering it down, which doesn't work because watering it down or a top level view is viewed by people like you as lies.
