We don't have to worry too much about the possible fraud in the scientific community. It's all corrupt at this point. They can't even get the weather right, for crying out loud. The decent doctors and scientists have been overshadowed and silenced by the vocal and politically connected minority. With the assistance of the media, of course. Fauci is a horrible person of no ethics but he controls our nation like a tyrant. Well, this is what 'reaping what you sow' looks like.

What about accusations of fraud that are wrong? Andrew Wakefield was accused of claiming that MMR caused autism and was struck off. His work was published in The Lancet and the editor was also accused of supporting his work because he refused to withdraw the paper. It was withdrawn, I think after about 10 years, and most of the others associated with the research withdrew their support. I always believed his claim was false until a recent report about it saying he did not make the claim of a link. I found a copy of Wakefield's paper and it clearly states: "We did not prove an association between measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and the syndrome described." It was about money because Wakefield recommended that parents should have a choice of separate vaccines and that is why he was discredited.

The problem the documentary is dealing with is just the beginning. A scientist falsifying data for his gain is one thing, but once the grant giving agency itself is corrupt it opens up the collusion between government and "science" similar to how Eisenhower described it as technocratic elite. They would say the science is settled or that it's for the public good or perhaps call you a denier. Now, the grant giving government agency - there's no reason to think it wouldn't be corrupt. After all they're not spending they're own money, they're spending tax money on whatever they decide. And they don't bear the responsibility for failures. At least if a private person funds research, he bears the cost if it doesn't work. So peer review and repeatability are good to check the work afterwards, but while the incentives are such that you get success from a result on paper but no responsibility to what you publish not working, it opens the system up for lying. Another thing is honesty isn't a scientific matter, it's a moral matter, good vs bad type of matter, something science doesn't deal with. So it's laughable that it could be fixed by better explaining science to kids in grammar school like the man at 31:35 suggested. Oh, if we only get them young enough we'll teach them properly... the arrogance!

Notice how the fraud was exposed by revisiting the fundamental data, and indeed the underpinning theory. This is fundamentally why climate alarmists vehemently oppose any revisiting of the basis of their crackpot ideas. It is 'irrefutable settled science', just like all the other scientific frauds.
