I agree they are manipulating news in India. But even at that 300,000 cases per day (btw cases do not mean all are sick) the nation has 1.3 billion people. 300,000 equals about 3/100ths of a percentage. That said even the deaths reported are a drop in the bucket given the 1.3 billion people. Finally India is a tale of two societies. Better to well off urban society which is around 400 million people who have better health care and hospitals and the rest of India that still live a rather subsistence lifestyle of around 900 million. Hospital care is not evenly distributed throughout the nation. Deaths are always sad but India suffers between 1-2 million tuberculosis deaths each year and TB is he most contagious respiratory disease known. The KungFlu Covid 19 has yet to be a part of 200,000 lives lost in India since this all started about 14 months ago.
