Remember, perspective. People die everyday. The average age of mortality is 78 for men and 80 for women. The age of the average Covid19 death is over 80. Just waiting to see how many excess deaths year to year. It could be that most of the deaths occured in those likely to die this year.

This study was done in Canada. It is a rather long report. The bottom line is people died less of things like heart attacks, strokes, flu, pneumonia etc and turned those deaths into Covid deaths. per capita more did not die between Jan and July of 2020. So had Covid been as bad as they say then more would have died. What will happen due to lockdowns however will be nasty. The hospitals have a large backlog of things that did not get done due to the lockdowns. Many of those people will die.
