Confessions of an economic hitman

  - 24:01

They did this type of things for years. They still do it. Borrow from the IMF or World bank and that money actually goes to corporations out of the country, even now. Free Trade is more of a noose around any countries neck as they give corporations even more power. Corporations now have tons of cheap, slave labour, so they can make even moire profits. Guess w3here all your jobs went, after Free Trade agreements were implemented. Who wants Monsanto/Bayer taking over the worlds food supply? Then there is a the pyramid scam that corporations create. The one at the top buys two companies. Then those two companies buy two more or more. And that can grow to one person owning many companies. Then each of those companies can buy or sell to each other. That create a tax deductions for a while. They can run companies at a loss again a tax deductions. Better know a a loss. They buy materials from each other at inflated prices, for profit. Long story on that one. The companies at the bottom, are owned by the one at the top, But to trace that back takes some doing, as that companies name at the top ,is not on anything pertaining to the companies ownership at the bottom. So they make any of the companies run at a profit or at a loss when they want to. It is a major maze.

I read the book probably 15 to 20 years ago, and it is sounded me then. It always surprises me that this book wasn't more well-known. These days, it seems to me that China is now engaging in indebting countries to themselves to gain control of their resources and land, and it is basically the same countries that are run by dictators, who received huge payoffs, that are the victims to this corruption.
