I live in Alberta and what is most interesting about this is that the Alberta Government and Alberta Health Services mentioned nothing about this case but made it seem like they were being so magnanimous that they were lifting the restrictions by themselves only because cases have come down without any legal force behind it whatsoever. What is curious is that in Calgary, where I live, the municipal government extended mask mandates for City Transit and municipal government buildings until at least August 5, so the same ruling should apply at the municipal level as well. Thank you to Patrick King! I have been saying all along to people like Rebel News, who have been launching lawsuits based on breach of constitutional rights, that lawsuits need to be based on ending the pandemic itself because the breach of our constitutional rights is based on the emergency measures put in place justified by the pandemic, so Patrick King is entirely correct that this is the way forward.
