Hi GLR, would having comments turned off completely work as a good stop-gap until I can support comment moderation? I can turn off your comment section pretty easily and undelete your old videos if you'd like that.

Hi Anthony, (I wrote this as an email to [email protected] on 24.11.:) I'm very glad to hear from you now. I was very disappointed because of the non-answer and deleted most of my videos on your platform; then uploaded them to Dailymotion. They have an "unlisted" option and no comment section, what is exactly what I need. (5.png, 6.png) Most of my videos are non-public. The switching off function for all videos (one simple option on the account page) would serve me best. To switch it off individually for each video would be nice perhaps for some other people. One friend of mine also is harrassed by ugly people and would also need this. Because you always try to improve your platform, I would recommend to you not to go astray with Twitter- or Facebook-like ideas, but focus on the usability of the video/audio platform. I also tried BrandNewTube and the German dein.tube. They don't work; one cannot upload. Also peertube doesn't work. LBRY also has problems, as BitChute does. The "unlisted" option is only working on YouTube and Dailymotion. Dailymotion, by the way, has the best solution: Unlike YouTube they produce a new special URL, not the same URL of a former public upload. So one can upload first publicly and the switch to "unlisted", getting a new special URL. If you really want to go also in the Twitter/Facebook/GAB direction, you should look up BitTube. The have two options to be selected, one with a twitter-like stream (3.png) and one with a video presentation style (4.png). I just discovered that you also offer the "unlisted" option for $4.95/month. Since I get it for free at Dailymotion, I would not pay this, because I get it elsewhere for free. (No, please don't undelete the old videos.) Thanks! GLR
