Maybe he knows this was already widespread and not that deadly before they even started the first lockdown in March 2020. In fact based on the New York state (and other) antibody testing it was shown to be widespread among the general population much earlier than the government had been saying even by April 2020. As such they knew it was not deadly, already out of control and nothing was going to stop it other than natural herd immunity...
