At that point, you become responsible for that act. The next dog, up to the 10,000th dog you put down, is just icing on the cake. It really doesn't matter, at that point. Ask yourself, can I live with myself for what I'm about to do? If you can, then get on with it. It is just another "bad day on the farm". That is all it is.
