He didn't say IT IS a flat disk. If he was convinced the Earth was flat and said so enough to convince his fellow scientists, we would know. But it's not what happened because it simply isn't so. Copernic, Keppler, Galileo and Einstein and all others, including Piccard knew from scientific observation that Earth is round. But hey, any little bit you can pick, even far fetched is enough for you. All you can do is rely on hypothesis because you have no science, no equations, no natural laws to prove your pseudo theory. Oh, right, you don't need those, I forgot. It's just God's creation and don't you ever look past that. Funny enough, I believe in God too, just for you information.
