That mathematics "works" at all in the universe shows that God created a mathematical universe, and mathematics. Math isn't created by man. An atheist mathematician, i think in the 30's, swore that HIS formulas would not be used in the physical universe. After he died, his formulas helped treat a certain hemophilia.

Evidence of intelligent design, maybe, but why does that intelligence have to be God? This level of design requires great power and intelligence, but not necessarily infinite power and intelligence. We live in a simulation.

That is because our ancestors observed nature and imitated its rules and symmetry etc... And then found ways to express those rules mathematically. You have it all backwards. That is not to say there is no design of sorts. But you need to go out more
