Looking over the various wars besides The Revolutionary War with England, behind the scenes was also Germany, France and Spain. The Constitution did not fall, but the Treasury did go bankrupt in 1879 because of the Civil War. Patriotism is required from all of it's Citizens and that's what keeps the tree of liberty growing.
