This is hilarious. And it's so typical of the way this city does things. They broadcast their Selection Committee meeting for January 20, 2021. The actual coverage doesn't begin until about the ten minute mark. Then the screen goes blank just before the 13 minute mark as they go "in camera." Then when they come back "out of camera" or whatever these sophisticates call it, at about the 17.5 minute mark where they close the meeting. The whole video lasts about 18 minutes to broadcast less than 4 minutes of the meeting. This raises the question - why did they upload this "meeting" at all? Oh, I get it... there is probably some bylaw that says they have to. This is the same group of geniuses who regulate the Hamilton taxi business. Think about that. After I finished processing my video report, I reloaded the City's YouTube broadcast. They had stripped out most of the wasted time from the beginning of the video to leave a "finished product" only about 6 minutes long - which was still 8 minutes worth of nothing. https://youtu.be/0-i_XI7wLIw
