The oceans is 71% of the earths surface. If the oceans are cold, little water evaporates. If little water evaporates, there are fewer clouds. With fewer clouds, there are less shadow on the surface of the land, and less rain. Drought is alsays caused by lack of rain. Heathwaves are always caused by the lack of shadow on dry land, aka clouds. The specific heat capacity of water is quite extrardirary. It cools down the air in the daytime, and keeps it comfortable rduring the night. So when urban people are complaining about global warming, they don't have a clue what the're talking about.
