The most bizarre thing is that the rank and file take it in as gospel. They're parroting (even down here in SW FL) the claims of "hottest summer", and now the hypnotized people even say it's hottest they ever experienced. It's mass psychosis. Apparently the folks don't recall our summer three (maybe four) years ago we set "record highs" weekly if not almost daily. I think there hasn't been even one record hit this summer. Imma just shakin' my head in disbelief.
