It is curious that climatologists' predictions are unable and definitely unwilling to specify the exact mean global temperature that would lead to optimum conditions on earth to minimize floods, hail, hurricanes, droughts, heatwaves, cold deaths and prevent all extinctions, and maximize crop yields, human prosperity. Funny that. It seems any change in any direction from our current state is an unmitigated disaster. Surely, we are fortunate to be living in the best of all possible mean global temperatures.
