The whole point is that AI does not think, neither does it understand. I suspect it merely finds the most frequently occurring phrases which reflect the phrase in the question. Although it does seem biased towards alarmist sites.

ChatGPT probably uses Google search for the answers. The problem is, and I am sure we all know this, is that Google search is nothing but a propaganda engine.
