Conservative societies and cultures are generally more aware of their history. Progressive leftists not so much, see for example: climate history, Black History Month, etc.

The Guardian sells it’s editorial space. The Open Philanthropy Project is one such client (created & funded by a facebook owner). They are anti-meat animal rights activists with investments in plant based fake meat. The Guardian is really just an advertising medium. They use the feminist tactic of reputation bashing to create support for abolishing meat. The same is going on with the climate junk they print.
