Therefore it is talking about the concept of salvation, and is not addressing you specifically. The words He, and Us, are not a single person address. Therefore the record is talking about salvation in general, and not specifically about your salvation. You can use the record god gave of his son, to know you have eternal life, cos the concept of salvation, that existed 2000 years ago, and exists now, is consistent with your salvation now. Also, the record god gave of his son was written two thousand years ago, and your salvation happens now. These are two events, that are thousands of years apart, the record created 2000 years ago. This is the concept. And your salvation now, according to 1Jo:5:13. (See the word, and the spirit mentioned in these two verses, 1Jo:5:7 and 1Jo:5:8) The record uses an all-persons address, and therefore is the concept of salvation. 1Jo:513 uses a single person address, and therefore is talking about your salvation.
