Climate alarmists don't understand where energy comes from. They don't understand where energy goes. And they certainly don't understand science.

I keep telling these numb nut electric car people, somewhere there's a power plant chugging away to charge your car and keep you comfortable at night, in the dark, when it's not windy!

She descended from the grandfather of climate science Arrhenius Svante. She is also a member of the WEF. Look into it.

The trains' 'fuel' in Sweden are powered by electricity though, and in Sweden, that electricity, still / today anyway, mostly comes from nuclear power plants and particularly, from water powered power plants. Not diesel powered trains here.

Check out wef's Klaus Schwabs threats, 'predicting' some kind of cyber pandemic. They're doing a simulation already for the next threat. Seems they will turn off the grid and blame on a cyber attack that will cause mass catastrophe. Then probably purge the internet, as they have realized it has woken up too many people even with the censorships. Hope people have food, essentials prepared as well.

What a good explanation.

Great post Tony, it makes me very grateful for fossil fuels.

Tony, you forgot that you don’t just drive to your local fast food restaurant or call Uber to have them deliver your heart’s desire. These people are so spoiled that they sit around dreaming up things to complain about. Politicians take advantage of their nativity and pit them against the older generations that know how great they have it.

"Get rid of fossil fuel". Get rid of that fossil fool!!

Tony has a very calm delivery and a soothing voice. So it might slip by you when he said "Without fossil fuels, civilization would collapse and billions of people would die in a short period of time." His statement is absolutely correct. It is also true that the remaining billions would live much shorter lives filled with trying to kill each other over the dwindling supply of food. The Earth is doing great. It is the people that are nuts!

You look at the photo of Ms Thunberg and notice several issues. Bananas don't grow very well outside of the equatorial zone, and that takes speed to get up north, no sailing ships. Then the aluminum bottles on the table: Aluminum requires vast amounts of electricity to produce, and fabricate. Ya just want to Gibb slap her parents.

There was very little use for perpetual babies in our earliest history: the prototype is an alpha. An ungovernable individual who would rather do it for himself or as a team member.

I am beginning to believe that ANYONE who is a climate alarmist should be stripped of all energy produced by fossil fuels, and any products produced by fossil fuels. This of course would mean there solar panels and wind mills too as their production uses fossil fuels. This of course should take place no matter how much money they have. Leavr them all in the dark freezing and hungry.

Excellent and "novel" idea.

With all that money that is thrown around and misspendt to implement Green policies, it should be easy to construct a test area, where Green technology is tested under real world circumstances. In other words, what you said, but as an experiment with volunteers. A small village of, say, 20 houses and an infrastructure, that is built to be sustainable as defined by the UN. Let that run for a year, and be observed by scientists and independent media, and after that year, it should be clear if life without fossil fuels is worth living. This way, we wouldn't have to fight all the time with Green dreamers, who believe their dream is reality and workable because they said so.

I see liberals as the dangerous underbrush of our society. If we fail to clear them out, we will soon find ourselves in an out-of-control fire which will indiscriminately consume the still alive and growing plants. This may be a necessary cycle but it's going to destroy an awful lot. Christ is fire proof.
